Cite While You Write makes EndNote the easy bibliography writer. With it you can locate and insert citations without leaving Microsoft Word. EndNote's new instant formatting creates your bibliography as you type-no waiting, no guessing, no extra steps.

Cite While You Write locates references in your open EndNote X2 library and provides you with a selection list. If you don't find what you're looking for, simply modify the search to receive a new list. EndNote retains your last ten searches to easily recall previous selection lists. Highlight one or more references to cite.

As you insert a citation in your document, EndNote X2 formats the in-text citation and builds the bibliography instantly. The only time you'll use the Format Bibliography command is to change the selected output style or modify layout options and Instant Formatting settings.
