Hands-On
Math
Tired of paper and
pencil, rote memory of math facts, timed tests? This workshop features
the award winning software series, Hands-On Math: Volumes 1,2, and 3.
Each program simulates math manipulative devices and instructional techniques
using a multimedia approach to focus students' attention on fundamental
math concepts. Learn about the Playground menu which provides the child
with free exploration of concepts and the Exercise menu that reinforces
essential math concepts. Participants will leave with an abundance of
ways to link technology with their existing math curriculum. |
