Tool Kit Using the Algebra Tool Kit students can explore fundamental algebra concepts in a hands-on way. Algebra Tiles with values of positive and negative 1, x and x2, enable the students to create groups of tiles to represent binomials and polynomials. By combining sets students see how algebraic expressions can be added, subtracted, multiplied or factored. If a set of tiles is defined as a function it can be linked to a graph. |

The
online component
for Algebra Concepts extends the learning activities into the home. Teachers can
assign homework activities which are accessed online.
Using our proprietary internet software, once a student logs in, access is authorized and then the student proceeds to complete the homework assignment. When the assignment is completed, the student clicks on the submit button and instantly the work is checked and scored. A report of the student's work is instantly emailed to the teacher and student (or parent). |
