3a - Advanced Level is based on the standards for 3rd grade language arts,
and can immensely benefit not only students of that age, but older students struggling
to read as well. The course teaches word families and patterns; syllables; antonyms
and synonyms; homophones and homographs; classifying and sorting; prefixes, root
words and suffixes; reading comprehension strategies; and spelling. The program
uses four distinct methods within each of these topics: a Coach Time, which is
an instructor led interactive tutorial, a Learn the Words section, a Speed Round,
and a Sports Game where students vie for gold medals. | | Coach

expert animated coaches introduce each topic, teaching the vital points of phonics
while also instructing how to play a sport, making our course a magnetic learning

the Words - Speed Rounds | | Phonics
3a features extensive "Learn the Words" sections, with over 500 words
presented in syllables and over 3,000 spoken words in sentences. Students can
see and hear each word and its syllables, and see and hear the word used in a
sentence. In addition, they can read a word definition, and read the topic rules.
Finally there is a "Speed Round". This 1-minute flash card style drill
helps students test their understanding of the words. All scores are saved and
