What is a CD/DVD Server?
CD/DVD Server is a NAS (network attached storage) device used to store virtual CDs or DVD's and share them over a network.
The Administrator creates images of real CDs or DVDs (these images are known as virtual CDs or DVDs) and stores these images on a server. Users then can access the CD or DVD images over a network.
A CD/DVD Server supports various operating systems such as Windows, UNIX, Netware, etc. It can also work as an Internet server that can be accessed by any web browser. CDServer enables an administrator to maintain the server over Internet from anywhere in the world.
A CD/DVD Server is equipped with a standard network interface that can be connected directly to a network. The operations are very simple and intuitive. A new user can get acquainted with it in a short time. CD/DVD Servers can increase user's access speed by auto-adjusting its network segment.
