Algebra Concepts is a great tool for introducing students to many of the difficult concepts that are necessary for success in higher level math courses. This unique program includes a special feature, the Algebra Tool Kit, where students graphically illustrate algebraic expressions, plot functions and perform operations with integers, monomials, binomials and polynomials.

Algebra Concepts provides a complete introduction to the terminology and basic concepts of algebra. Simulated algebra tiles develop an understanding of operations with integers, the addition and subtraction of binomials and trinomials, multiplying expressions and factoring. Students move tiles on the screen to represent algebraic expressions. The computer evaluates the expression and displays the result. With the program students can define a function and see a graph of the solution set. The computer graphs the function. Students can graph linear and quadratic equations. Since multiple graphs can be drawn on the same grid, the program is useful in illustrating solution sets for simultaneous equations.
