| Comprehension Check |
| The Comprehension Check can be used after reading
the lesson. In the Comprehension Check Window, a question is
presented at the top of the screen, and two or more possible
answers are shown at the center of the screen. To select an answer,
move the mouse pointer to the answer and click the button. The
system will check the answer, report a score and display the
forward button. Click the forward button to continue the Comprehension
Check. |
 |
| Questions in the Comprehension Check are presented
in the standard multiple choice format. Students select an answer
by clicking on the answer. |
 |
The Back button is used to back up one page. |
|
 |
As students work through the quiz, the scoreboard
continually reports their progress. |
When the quiz is completed, the Comprehension Check Scoreboard
is presented. From this window the students can choose to try
the quiz again, or to read the lesson again. To quit and move
on to a different activity is also an option. |
 |
| The main Scoreboard will also report the students'
final score on the Comprehension Check for each topic. It is
reasonable to expect students to get a perfect score in this
area since they can retake the quiz. |
