The AUTOMGEN STARTER KIT is a software-learning package that deals with the basic notions of automation. It is an extraordinarily, user-friendly interface allows students who are new to the sceince of automation to learn basic concepts regarding sensors, actuators, and algorithmic, numerical and sequential sequencing.

The ASK language (an original language invented by IRAI), allows for the descriptions of automatic behaviors to be defined in a combination of textual and graphical terms.

On start up the software displays various scenarios and allows the student to choose the model to be controlled or the simulation to be run on the computer. The program automatically configures the development environment and becomes "instinctive".

A simplified graphic language allows a student to quickly create a control program with just a few clicks of the mouse. It is not necessary to learn a difficult syntax because with AUTOMGEN 7 makes learning automation control programming seem "natural". Inspired by the Grafcet language, the ASK language help to prepare students for the more advanced concepts that they will need to learn in higher level courses.
